I am a student at Ōtaki College in Ōtaki, NZ. My blog is a place where I will be able to share some of my learning. Please note....some work won't be edited - they are just my first drafts, so there may be some errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas on my posts.

Monday afternoon
On Monday afternoon 20th of August our class went to cricket in the hall because it was raining. We learnt to catch the ball. First me and my partner Turanga were throwing the ball to each other but luckily the ball was soft. Next we had to put our hand behind our back and catch the ball with one hand. Next we had to catch the ball in mid-air by Matthew throwing the ball up then you had to jump off our stage and catch the ball then stretch your hands forward and land on your tummy. Then we had to go to the back of the hall and do clap catches. Clap catches are when you throw the ball up and do claps before the ball comes down. We had to beat eight. I got ten. Then we did it again but when you are doing the clap catches you can't drop the ball if you do you had to put the ball back in the bag and sit on the stage. Then we left and went back to class. I can't wait till next Monday because I loved the practice.
